Planned use of Hydraulic Workover Unit to re-enter Ororo-1 Well. Mobilization was botched due to adverse sea conditions. Currently on standby awaiting Operator’s final decision to continue with field operations at calmer sea conditions
Integrated Field Study of a 23-well field owned by a major Nigerian operator. The objective of the study is to investigate causes of low productivity of wells and recommend solutions to arrest pressure decline and remediate poor production.
Subcontracted to develop an appraisal strategy and notional field development plan for SEPLAT’s heavy oilfield located onshore Nigeria. Analyzed key uncertainties in the structure, fluid type & property and volumetrics; formulated an appraisal strategy/development road map; and developed a well test plan involving the re-entry of the existing well and carrying out a limited DST/ESP well test using a hydraulic workover rig.
